The online retailer converted an 8,000-square-foot 1920s laundry into a whitewashed office with wooden desks, minimalist furniture by Ohio Design, Hem, Muuto, and Friends & Family and large windows that allow for an ample amount of natural light. “We wanted to create a space that felt open, honest, and totally collaborative—a true physical representation of our values,” said the brand. “
Everlane this week is hosting “housewarming” events to show off the new space. On March 17, the company is holding a Housewarming Party, on March 18, visitors will be allowed to shop the showroom with a personal stylist, and on Saturday, March 19, the company will hold an “Always Ask Why” panel moderated by Everlane Founder Michael Preysman, with speakers James Freeman, CEO of Blue Bottle Coffee, Jessica Silverman of Jessica Silverman Gallery, and Joseph Becker, Curator at SFMOMA.
