Givenchy celebrates opening of first Los Angeles store with two Hollywood parties
For the first time in Los Angeles fashion history, French house Givenchy has a store. To celebrate the opening of its Rodeo Drive boutique, the Givenchy’s team chose Hollywood’s Goldwyn House, the former Fuller House, home of successful Hollywood producer Samuel Goldwyn, the man behind two of the world’s biggest film studios, Paramount Pictures and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
Now owned by David Alhadeff, founder of The Future Perfect’s design gallery, the Goldwyn House welcomed celebrities and friends of Givenchy for two evenings, including actors and actresses Antonia Gentry, Madelaine Petsch, Lukas Gage, Maddie Ziegler and Tik Tok celebrity, Jack Wright.
Located at 413 North Rodeo Drive, Givenchy’s store is a 6,500-square-foot space, where creative director Matthew M.Williams’ collections are presented in a metallic and silver décor, around tiger fabric sofas, giant screens highlighting the various accessories and sculptures created by British artist, Ewan MacFarlane.
The Los Angeles store presents the brand’s Fall/Winter 2023 ready-to-wear collection and accessories for men and women, and exclusive capsules such as the Voyou basket bag and Marshmallow wedges sandals in rubber and seasonal colors.
