Harry Winston to open a new salon in Miami’s Design District

Harry Winston has become the latest brand to move to Miami’s expanding Design District. The 7,168 square foot salon will join over 20 Harry Winston salons open in 20 cities worldwide.

The retail salon located at 166 NE 39th Street will official open following a ceremonial ribbon cutting on May 13th. The two-storey salon will carry the brand’s iconic jewelry and timepiece collections including the finest diamonds and the most rare gemstones available today.

The location will reference the brand’s Fifth Avenue flagship store in New York City. The interior will feature custom designed black lacquer and antique bronze furniture, bespoke chandeliers, hand-beaded silk walls and antique accents.

“Miami Design District presents the perfect setting for Harry Winston’s newest salon location,” said Nayla Hayek, CEO of Harry Winston, Inc. “Harry Winston has long celebrated the similarities between fine art and fine jewelry, often exploring various artistic influences as a way to bring its fine jewelry designs to life. With this opening, we look forward to continuing in this rich tradition, as we share the House’s renowned heritage and extraordinary creations with a city that is at the forefront of global creativity and design, and we welcome our new and existing clients from around the world.”

The Miami Design District retail salon will be Harry Winston’s 11th salon to open in the United States, and the second to open in Florida.

Harry Winston joins a number of luxury stores in Miami’s Design District including the recently opened Burberry, Cartier, Givenchy, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, and Versace boutiques. A few stores opening in the District soon include Dior, John Lobb, Zilli, and Tom Ford.
